Last night was a particularly tough watch for me.
I watched on a sofa between two Liverpool fans, my youngest Grandson aged 9 and his dad and of course they don't come from Liverpool. To be fair neither was too harsh on me, in some ways, it would have been better if they had been! I think they took pity on me in a condescending kind of way. Comments like We've seen West Ham play better this year" "thought you might have pushed us a bit more" etc. etc. My Grandson didn't watch it all and went to bed confident of a win at half-time, as he had a match today for Wycombe Wanders under10s against Watford's under10s-development squad. (10-7 to the Chairboys if you are interested). I went and just to rub salt in I had endure a discussion by other parents at the game about the game on the box last night and trust me it was hard listening.

Seeing as you’re struggling with it Capitol, the point is to make sure the squad players stay match ready, therefore, rotate on or two at different points where possible, make subs when 2-0/3-0 up, make sure players have minutes in their legs, NOT, send 6 players out that have barely kicked a ball, play a shit right back out of position at left back, leave out your two most creative midfielders in a cup fucking quarter final.
How is that difficult to comprehend?

Which f the games should we have rested players in, Wolves? Man U?, Arsenal? Brighton?
And it’s not as though the players that came in aren’t experienced is it. They all have a lot of games behind them.
You could argue that this game should have been a priority but the prize is two big games in January and then the final. He’s hardly the first manager to deprioritise the league cup is he?
Utterly shit if you went up there, but pretty good chance we didn[t win even with a full first team squad.
So should we not be resting players at all and if we should which games?
If we get a decent return over christmas then there’s some modest vindication, if we are shit then Moyes deserves al the criticism he will no doubt get.

Most of those players you mention have not had a sniff all year, the only start they get is being sent out to lose at Anfield. I dont think I'd be best pleased either. Its up there with Allardyce sending the kids out to get hammered in the cup that year.
Yeah the players were shit, but he picked them, the world knew that team would get demolished. Yeah they ought to have a had a bit more pride but they're in the same boat as the fans now, just waiting the for useless cunt to leave. We know we aint winning shit this season now so why bother? WE'll lose against Manc Utd and Arsenal and probably Brighton and there will still be fucking idiots on here harping on about winning a trophy that we were favourites to win. Big woop.

When do we start looking at the players rather than the manager here? The display of Benhrama, Fornals, Johnson, Souchek, Obonna? The list goes on!!! The lot were awful, and some of the wandering around, and just plain giving up cant all be on the Jock Goloms shoulders?
Yes is a negative tosser, and i want him gone, but dont let the players off with a free hit here!! Some of those displays were the worst ive seen for years!! Awful.

I don't think anyone meant use the squad by flogging it into the ground then resting all the players for our biggest he of the season. I've heard it all now.. How about taking Paqueta et al off when 3 up with 20 on the clock Sunday that's 20 minutes more in their legs... Multiple games he's left them on for 90...nobody would be complaining if he'd rested some either side... Nope he decides to rest 6 in a cup QF at probably the toughest away game there is...

Use the squad they say, make changes they say. Well he did and look what happens, when we rest the likes of Ward Prowse, Emerson, Zouave and Paqueta.
Just not good enough, I’m afraid.
Before this game, we had just one defeat in 9 games. We recovered from the Fulham debacle and, hopefully, we will get over this one. ⚒⚒

Wrong you can and they did. They alway will; they just don't care about the fans and never have. The problem we (and to be fair) most other clubs have, is that there is a large loyal fanbase all of whom know the history of the club and know that the club runs deep in their (our) families. We aren't going to change allegiance so they simply fuck it into us and will continue to do so. You getting all stressed over it Vexed will not change one fucking little thing.
